1. What JunkerClub is

JunkerClub is a marketplace. Customers post junk removal jobs with photos; independent local companies send quotes; the customer picks one. JunkerClub does not haul anything, does not employ the companies and does not supervise the work. The agreement to remove your junk is between you and the company you choose.

You must be 18 or older to post a job or quote on one, and you may only post jobs for property you own or are authorised to clear.

2. Accounts

You need an account to post a job, to send a quote, or to see contact details. We verify your email address with a 6-digit code, and we may verify your phone number by text. Keep your login details to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you.

Company accounts must give a real business name, a working phone number and a real service address. We geocode that address to decide which jobs you are shown; an address we cannot resolve is not accepted.

3. Posting a job

Describe the job honestly and photograph what you actually want removed. Quotes are priced off those photos, so a job that turns out to be much larger than posted can reasonably be re-quoted or declined on the day. Your street address and contact details are not shown while companies are quoting — only the city.

Do not post hazardous waste, asbestos, chemicals, medical or biological waste, ammunition or anything else that cannot be handled lawfully by a general junk removal crew.

4. Quotes

Quoting is free and unlimited. A quote is a firm offer for the job as described and photographed. Company names are shown to the customer as initials until the job is won, so quotes compete on price and rating rather than on brand.

Every job has a quoting window. Once the customer accepts a quote, the job stops taking new ones.

5. What you pay us

Customers pay JunkerClub nothing. Posting a job, receiving quotes and choosing a company are free.

Companies pay a single unlock fee, and only after a customer picks them. Win a $1,000 job and our cut is $100 — you keep $900. That is 10% of the quote the customer accepts ($35 minimum), and nothing at all until you win. There is no subscription, no monthly fee and no charge per lead. The exact amount is shown before you are charged.

Unlock fees are charged through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. The fee buys access to the customer’s address, phone and email; it is not a commission on the work and it is not refundable once the details have been unlocked, except where we got the charge wrong.

6. How the customer pays the company

The customer pays you directly — cash, Zelle, Venmo or card, however you two agree. JunkerClub never holds your money. JunkerClub never holds that money. It goes straight from the customer to the company. We are not a payment processor, an escrow service or a guarantor for the job.

7. Cancelling

A customer may cancel a job before accepting a quote at no cost. After a quote is accepted, tell the company as early as you can — a crew that has already been dispatched may charge for the trip. A company that repeatedly accepts jobs and does not show up can be removed from the platform.

8. Reviews

Only a customer who actually hired a company through JunkerClub can review it. Reviews are held for moderation before they appear. We do not write reviews, we do not sell them and we do not delete a truthful negative one because a company asked us to.

9. When something goes wrong

Open a dispute from the job page. Because payment goes straight from the customer to the company, JunkerClub does not hold the money and cannot refund it. What we can do is look into what happened, mediate between the two sides, and act on the company’s standing on the platform — including suspending accounts.

Damage to property, injury, and anything requiring a licence or insurance claim is between the customer and the company. Ask a company for proof of insurance before work starts if that matters to you.

10. What we do not promise

We do not promise that you will receive quotes, that a company will show up, that a price is the best available, or that the site is available without interruption. We list companies; we do not certify them. The service is provided as it is.

11. Ending an account

You can close your account at any time by asking us on the contact page. We can suspend or close an account that abuses the platform — fake jobs, fake quotes, harassment, or trying to move a job off the platform to avoid the unlock fee.

12. Changes and questions

If we change these terms we update the date at the top of this page. Questions go to the contact page.
